Preserving Our Natural Resources
Environmental programs throughout the city
Staunton believes in preserving
our natural resources and we accomplish this by:
Adopting an Environmental Policy which has been endorsed by the City Manager, Mayor and City Council .
Recycling all Plastic, Glass and Newspaper citywide.
Recycling cardboard pickup throughout the central business district and providing a citizen drop off point at Gypsy Hill Park.
Recycling used paper at all city offices.
