Animal Services
The Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center has begun providing local animal control services. Stray, abandoned, lost, and surrendered animals for Augusta County and the Cities of Staunton and Waynesboro will be handled by the SVASC beginning September 1, 2011.

SSC
Staunton Senior Center serves Virginia communities in Staunton and western Augusta County. Operated by the Valley Program for Aging Services (VPAS), SSC provides free and/or low cost services to active and homebound adults ages 60 and over.
