Commissioner of the Revenue

The Commissioner of the Revenue's primary responsibility is assessing the value of personal property, business personal property, machinery & tools, issuing business licenses, and processing State Income tax returns. 

Maggie Ragon is elected by the citizens of Staunton and is responsible to the community for the equitable application of the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the City Code of Staunton as directed by the Code of Virginia.
