Regional Fire Fighter Testing

Please note the following important information for individuals interested in the Regional Firefighter Testing for Augusta County, Rockingham County, and the Cities of Harrisonburg, Staunton and Waynesboro that is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Rockingham County Fairgrounds. 

NOTE: Testing will only be conducted once a year in April. Individuals will need to retest in April each year to be considered for future recruitment openings.

Registration Process

Information packets and registration forms can be obtained on the Augusta County Website at www.co.augusta.va.us and clicking on Personnel Department. All registration forms and a check for $20.00 must be received at the Augusta County Personnel Office NLT 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010. This is a non-refundable registration fee to cover the cost of the test and related materials.    Make all checks out to the City of Waynesboro, not Augusta County.

Augusta County Personnel Office is acting as the central registration point for all the participating localities.  Registrations post marked after the deadline or received late will not be accepted.
