Eligibility
- Children and adults
- Residents of Augusta, Bath, Highland & Rockbridge counties and the cities of Buena Vista, Lexington, Staunton & Waynesboro
- Legally blind or with low vision
- Unable to see well enough or focus long enough to read standard print, even with corrected vision
- Unable to handle print books or turn pages because of a physical disability, even if temporary
- Certified by a medical doctor as having a reading disability due to an organic dysfunction
To qualify for service, an application form that identifies the eligibility of the person applying for the service must be filled out and certified by a qualified professional. (See application for details.)
