The Staunton Talking Book Center provides a free public library service with easy access to the informational and recreational reading materials needed by individuals in the service area who are unable to read standard print material. The center is a sub-regional library of the National Library Service for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NLS).

Wilson Volunteers

A big thank you to our group of volunteers from Wilson High School! Students helped TBC staff organize the Spanish book collection and helped remove and document cassette books from the shelves to make room for the newer (and popular!) digital books that arrive daily.

With so many volunteers on hand, we were even able to have some of the students help other departments in the Staunton Public Library - helping process new books in the  IT department, and helping the Children's department clean all the toys in the play area.

Thanks for all your hard work!!!
