          The Staunton Police Department is investigating burglaries that occurred at different locations in the City over the weekend:  one on Baldwin Drive; a second on Oak Lane; and an attempted burglary on Clemmer Lane.  Each of these incidents occurred at night while the residences were occupied.

          The Police Department is asking that citizens please call the Police Department immediately if they see or hear anything suspicious in their neighborhood.  If anyone has any information regarding these incidents, please call either the Staunton Police Department at 540-332-3842 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-322-2017.

 Please remember to lock all doors to your residence, including garage doors.  Also, remove valuable items from your vehicles and keep them locked, even when they are parked in your driveways or near your residence.
