Parking at the Augusta Parking Lot

Starting November 1, 2011 the Augusta Parking Lot will change from a free parking lot to a pay by space parking lot.

The Augusta parking lot, located between Augusta and New Streets will become a pay to park lot starting November 1st.

 A centralized pay station kiosk has been installed near the center island of the lot.

All available parking spaces are numbered. The fee for parking is $0.50 per hour. Fee parking is from 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. All other times there is no charge.

To use the Kiosk simply press any key and "Welcome to Augusta Lot" will display.  Press "OK".  Now the display will prompt you to enter the "stall" (parking space) number and press "OK".

Once you have entered the number and pressed "OK" the display wil ask you how much time you would like.  Enter that and press "OK".

Now the machine wil display how much money is requred for that amount of time.

The machine will accept $1.00 coins, quarters, dimes, nickels $1.00 and $5.00 bills.  Once the proper amount of money has been inserted the machine will return any change due and print a reciept of the transaction.
