Oil Recycling

Staunton Public Equipment Maintenance Shop's EMS has selected the following areas to reduce their carbon footprint:

·  Reducing the amount of used oil generated from vehicle maintenance and recycling all oil collected at this site.

·  Reducing oil filter waste generated from vehicle maintenance and ensuring all used oil filters are recycled instead being disposed of in a landfill.

·  Reducing the volume of used lead acid batteries generated and replacing lead acid batteries with newer technology designs as they become available.
