Other methods we are using to lower our carbon footprint :
- Using environmentally safe SPHAG absorbent when cleaning up fuel and other chemical spills.
- Soaps used are environmentally friendly.
- Replacing older vehicles with E85 enabled vehicles when possible.
- Using bio-diesel fuel blends to fuel diesel operated machinery and vehicles.
- Updating lighting with energy efficient lighting.
- Conservation of water by utilizing water-free urinals and low volume flush valves in restrooms.
- Efficiently planning vehicle routes reducing fuel used.
- Implemented a vehicle idling policy limiting idling to no more than five minutes.

Vehicle pre-operational checks are performed daily and tire pressure maintained to reduce fuel consumption.
