Action Skate Park
600 Churchville Ave
Staunton, VA 24401
Staunton Recreation's Action Skate Park is located within Gypsy Hill Park near the gym and Lake Tams. Originally constructed in 2003, the skate park was in serious need of an update to stay current with new skate trends. Over the years, generous public donations have made the 2009 revamp possible. The mini ramp (upper right picture above) is the newest addition to the park as construction continues throughout September 2009. Below is a sketch of how the final design of the current revamp is envisioned.
