History
In 1993 Staunton City Council approved the dedication of the Middlebrook Avenue Underpass Park in memory of Mr. W. J. Junior Landes. Mr. Landes had owned and operated LANDES TAXI SERVICE housed in a garage (still standing) which borders the park.
