Youth Scholarship Fund

Fund to allow low income youth to participate in recreational activities.

Youth Scholarship Fund

Give the Gift of PLAY! This fund will be used to subsidize underprivileged local youth/teens participation in our recreation programs. Currently there is no such scholarship fund, and we need the community's help to achieve this lofty goal. Many other Parks & Recreation Departments have such funds, and we do get calls asking about financial assistance. We hope that with this new fund, youth and teens can apply for assistance to participate in recreational activities, possibly introducing them to new experiences they might not otherwise be able to enjoy. All proceeds will go to the scholarship fund, from which families of youth and teens may apply for needed funding to participate in programs, trips, athletics, our afterschool H.E.A.R.T. program or summer camp.
